Google Vids Can Do More Than PDF-to-Video
Google Vids is now a broader AI-powered video creation app. Google’s current help documentation says users with eligible AI access can create custom clips from prompts, images, avatars or other video, edit clips with Omni, use AI avatars, convert Google Slides into scenes, record a screen or camera, and start from templates.

Google says the document-to-video feature is already available for Rapid Release domains. For Scheduled Release domains, gradual rollout began on September 5, 2026 and can take up to 15 days for the feature to appear.
Eligible plans listed by Google include Business Starter, Standard and Plus; Enterprise Starter, Standard and Plus; Education Plus; Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra; Nonprofits; Google AI Pro for Education; and Teaching and Learning.
